What the register won't show you
A licence search confirms a builder met minimum requirements at a point in time. It tells you nothing about their financial position, court history, prior disputes, or how they treat clients when things go wrong.
Two strong references. Licence current and valid.
Three jobs last year ended in the courts. Truck repossessed. Two defaults on equipment leases. No tax return filed in two years. Three building companies in liquidation. Subcontractors refusing to work with them.
